How can I become a member of the Legion?
You may be eligible for Voting Membership in a branch of The Royal Canadian Legion if you are a Canadian citizen or Commonwealth subject and are of federal voting age. You may be eligible for Non-Voting Membership if you are a non-Canadian citizen or a non-Commonwealth subject from an Allied nation. To apply click here.
How do I make a donation?
Donations can be made at the Legion branch office from 11:00AM to 3:00PM Tuesday through Saturday. The branch office is located at 2019 4 Avenue South in Lethbridge. Donations can also be made by clicking here.
Can I renew my membership online?

How do I change my mailing address with the Legion?

Does the Lethbridge Legion rent hall space for weddings, funerals, etc?
Not at present. We are currently undergoing renovations.
How can I figure out what a relative’s medals mean?
The Internet is a good source for identifying service medals. The Canadian government website has a page that will help you here.
Why is the American anthem played before the Canadian anthem on Remembrance Day?
Protocol dictates that the anthem of the visiting country is played first.
Does the Lethbridge Legion offer scholarships to the grandchildren of veterans?
Scholarships are not offered but bursaries are. They must be applied for at the Lethbridge College prior to May of the current year. For more info click here.
Can I wear my parent’s medals at a military function to honour them?
Wearing of military medals is intended for the person who has (had) earned them. Displaying your parent’s medal in your home, or at a military museum perhaps, would be a great way to honor their service.
As a volunteer, can I have my sports registration fees paid for by the Legion?
No. It was previously the policy that registration fees for area and district sports would be paid for any volunteers at the General Stewart Branch #4. This policy was withdrawn for the 2023/24 sports year and beyond.
